Configuring QRZ.com Logbook to capture the information required for the contest<br>B. Exporting the QRZ.com Logbook QSOs applicable to the contest to an ADIF file<br>C. Converting the ADIF file to a Cabrillo 3.0 file and uploading the Cabrillo 3.0 file to CQ WW WPX<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Configuring QRZ.com Logbook to Capture the Information Required for the Contest<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Go to QRZ.com and log into your account: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qrz.com\/\">https:\/\/www.qrz.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click on QRZ Logbook in the upper right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"459\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-799\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture1.png 459w, https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture1-300x110.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 459px) 100vw, 459px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. If you have multiple logbooks on QRZ.com, verify that the desired logbook is displayed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Enter the contest call that you wish to log in the box to the left of the \u201cAdd QSO\u201d.&nbsp; Press the \u201cAdd QSO\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"154\" src=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-802\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture2.png 624w, https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture2-300x74.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Verify that the date and time are correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Verify or enter the Band, Frequency and Mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Enter RST Sent, RST Received and My Power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. <strong>IMPORTANT<\/strong>: Use the Contest pull down menu to select the desired contest which is CQ WW WPX (SSB) for this example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ignore the \u201cARRL Section\u201d and \u201cClass\u201d boxes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ignore the \u201cInfo Sent:\u201d box, <strong>AND enter your transmitted serial number<\/strong> starting with 1 in the first \u201cSerial:\u201d box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ignore the \u201cInfo Received\u201d box, <strong>AND enter the received serial number <\/strong>in the second \u201cSerial:\u201d box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Press the \u201cSave Record\u201d button at bottom of the page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"413\" src=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-809\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture3.png 624w, https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture3-300x199.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Repeat steps 4 through 9 for all additional contest QSOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update the band, Sent RST, and Received RST as appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update the band and frequency as appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Contest details will be repeated automatically<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Verify that your transmitted serial number is correct (it automatically updates) and be sure to enter the received serial number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B.  <u>Exporting the QRZ.com Logbook QSOs Applicable to the Contest to an ADIF File<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the contest:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Go to your QRZ.com logbook using steps 1 and 2 in Section A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Go to the Filter: pull down and select \u201cNew Filter\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Go to the Filter Options on the right part of the page and enter \u201cWPX SSB 2024\u201d as the Filter Name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Go to the Select Field: pull down and select \u201cQSO start date\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Go to the Compare Type: pull down and select \u201cbetween\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Enter the date of the first day of the contest in the Compare Value: box which is 2024-03-30 in this example.&nbsp; Enter the date of the second day of the contest in the Compare 2 Value: box which is 2024-03-31 in this example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Press \u201cAdd Rule\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Check the right most box for each contest QSO.&nbsp; <strong>NOTE:&nbsp; Only QSOs applicable to the contest should be checked.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. A link will then be sent to your email address from QRZ.com.&nbsp; Click on the link to obtain an ADIF file containing your contest QSOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"189\" src=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-829\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture7.png 624w, https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture7-300x91.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C.<\/strong>  <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Converting the ADIF File to a Cabrillo 3.0 File and Uploading the Cabrillo 3.0 File to CQ WW WPX<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the CQ World Wide WPX Contest ADIF to Cabrillo Converter at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cqwpx.com\/adif\/\">https:\/\/www.cqwpx.com\/adif\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Select the contest \u2013 CQ WPX SSB in this example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Enter your callsign in the \u201cCallsign Used:\u201d box<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click on the \u201cChoose File\u201d, click on the ADIF file downloaded in Step B-12 and press open<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Provide the requested entry information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>See the rules (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cqwpx.com\/rules.htm\">https:\/\/www.cqwpx.com\/rules.htm<\/a>) if you need help in selecting your category<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No action is required for the \u201cExchange Sent Tag\u201d or \u201cExchanged Received Tag\u201d if Section A steps 5 and 6 were followed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your location is your ARRL section (shown in the \u201cLocation:\u201d pull down) for USA and Canadian stations, and DX for everyone else<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"524\" src=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-835\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture9.png 624w, https:\/\/cqwpx.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Picture9-300x252.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Push the \u201cConvert\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.
