The WPX contest is based on an award offered by CQ Magazine for working all prefixes. Held on the last weekend of March (SSB) and May (CW), the contest draws thousands of entries from around the world.

2011 CQ WPX SSB Contest Starts

WPX CW Claimed Scores

Claimed scores for the 2010 WPX CW Contest are now available. These are raw scores calculated by the software before log checking.

PVRC Webinar - "Inside the CQ WPX Contest"

On March 14, 2010, The Potomac Valley Radio Club hosted a webinar titled "Inside the CQ WPX Contest". CQ WPX Director Randy Thompson, K5ZD, covered topics including rule changes, log checking, results reporting, participant surveys, and winning strategies for the contest.

Log Checking Reports

Log checking reports are available for the 2006-2009 contests. Request your report by sending an email to k5zd@cqwpx.com. Please provide the year, mode, and call used.
