It was easy to work the Big Guns but I had to work pretty hard to dig out the weaker stations between the noise and to be heard with a QRP signal. I am hooked on contesting again. |

You do not need to use the latest and Greatest $10K rig to have a lot of fun contesting. I managed to operate all the bands allowed in this Contest. Yes Virginia 10 Ten opened for about 1/2 Dozen QSO's. The SSB portion I was one of CY7C Special Callsign our Club obtained for the Contest.
