VE7BGP | SO LP ALL | I had a lot of fun but limited time for this contest this year. I operated my new FT-897D then Sunday I got serious using my good oldie IC-751A |
VE7GL | M2 | Multi 1 and a half for us. An amp went out and took the finals on the exciter out too. We limped on with a spare but multi-multies sure separate the men from the boys in terms of receivers so we had to limp along |
VK2BJ | SO LP ALL | Great contest but 10m poor, 160 no signals heard Very hard going on 80 with 100w Used SD for logging and worked flawlessly |
VK2IR | SO LP ALL | I would like to enter for Oceania Trophy LP |
VK3JL | SO LP ALL | First Licenced 2015 |
VK4TT | SO LP ALL | G'day to other Ops Used "SD" by EI5DI wkd vy FB |
VK6RT | SA HP ALL | Better conditions than last year. Great to use new contest call as VK6SMK always caused issues having a K at the end. Thanks for another fun and enjoyable CQ Contest |

VK6WX | Checklog | Only in for a few hours. Work and family kept me off the radio |

W1DYJ | SA LP ALL | Still learning CW |
W1HFF | SO LP ALL | Thanks everyone. 73 |
W2BEE | SO LP ALL | Fun running 100W Butternut ground mtd vert or the new sloper for 160 & 80 |
W2EG | SO LP 40M | Just made 1M points, though I'm certain that will be knocked down in error checking. Tough to copy accurately with such bad QRN! I got back on during the 22nd hour and found noise peaking at S8! Not quite as bad during first evening (local time), but still bad. It got a bit better as the night wore on, but was bad again the following evening/night. String of lightning storms during the last hours. Checking my last year's comments, I see the same complaint. It sure would be nice to have this contest during autumn or winter! Anyway, had fun and I thank all for the Qs.73,-Rich, W2EG |
W2JC | SA LP 20M | IC-7000 rig, LDG AT-200PRO Tuner Cushcraft R7 Vertical & G5RV dipole Did not get started until Saturday evening. I love the WPX ... great way to add countries and learn all these new, weird prefixes! Time = 10 hours |
W3IDT | SA LP 40M | Too long a tale of woe to enter here for the minimal result :-) |
W4GE | SA HP ALL | Thanks to all who suffered from my learning curve of N1MM+ and running CW !! |
W4HVH/5 | SA LP ALL | Thank you. 73 -John |
W5/MM0LID | SO LP ALL | Casual operation from KJ5Y, bands were not bad, but very noisy. Tower was lowered to below 15 feet most of the contest due to storms, making things rather difficult at times as the bea was fixed in a south position. Missing the openings to EU. Thanks for the QSOs and thank you to Pat KJ5Y for hosting me. See you in the next one 73 MM0LID |
W6JBR | SA LP ALL | TS-450SAT @ 100W 15m Antron A99 Vertical @6', 20/40m inverted V @ 24' ASL 400' CPU ASUS K52F Laptop running WIN 10, N1MM+ I got to play a bit here and there. Condx did not seem very good most of the time. TNX FB QSOs es 73 de JR |
W6NS | SA LP 80M | Rig: K3 Antenna: 6BTV. 80m + ground mounted vertical + late spring + too many alligators make for a lot of listening and not many contacts. The bright spot CR2X, strong signals to W6 and they can hear. More money should be invested in antennas and less on amplifiers ( I left my amp off this time) you may find this is a less expensive way to go. My 6BTV does not hear the best with QRM & QRN, but the Elecraft K3 with narrow filters, attenuator and RF gain makes receiving CW painless, now time to find enough real estate for receiving antennas. This was a S&P operation ( having 500w or more would have really improved the score) |
W6RLL/7 | SO HP ALL | Thanks for the QSOs |
W7DRA | SO QRP 80M | back to my roots with an ARC5 transmitter with 6 volts on the fil making it possible to run 5 watts output as seen by my eico model 725 watt meter antenna was a inverted L fed balanced with 72 ohm line sorry i have two QSOs numbered 4, i got confused |
W7HJ/4 | SO HP ALL | Too much automation.....some stations don't listen between CQs |
W8KNO | SO LP ALL | Got sick, do I need to say more! |
W8NOR/7 | SO LP ALL | Licensed 09.26.2013 |
W9RE | SO HP ALL | Nice that 15 opened to Europe each day. Signals seem to be getting cleaner. Nice to be able find a run freq in short order |
W9VQ | SO LP ALL | Portable from Lake Geneva, WI with a 40/80 dipole at 50 feet |
WA1NBS | SA LP 20M | First time for me working CQWPX contest. 20 Watt Power |
