| ZS2NF | SO LP ALL | Didn't have a fulltime effort this time and frankly I was glad! Conditions were not too good at all and I kept thinking my rig was not putting out its full 100 watt power! Used an ICOM 736 barefoot with a 5 el yagi on 10m (one contact only!), 2 el quads on 15m and 20m. I had a 5el Bruce vertical array on 40m beaming USA (short and long path - bidirectional) but the band seemed rather difficult to get out on (maybe I must revisit the antenna setup). Made a few contacts on 80m though with a quarter wave vert. antenna so all was not lost. Definitely need more power when the sunspot number is as low as it is nowadays.
