I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations established for amateur radio in my country. My report is correct and true to the best of my knowledge. I agree to be bound by the decisions of the Contest Committee. Date : 2018-05-28 Signature : AMV WP3R
WQ6XSA LP ALLThis is another WQ6X operation from W7AYT's QTH in Concord Ca while also joining up with the NX6T crew in Fallbrook, Ca throughout the long contest weekend. At W7AYT WQ6X ran the usual Yaesu FT-1000mp into a Comet CH-250 vertical into the WQ6X Lazy 8JK Sloper. While NX6T's condx were quite good, at the Concord QTH signals were quite lacking by comparison. Medium-fading made signal copy quite tricky at best. A pair of Autek QF-1A filters augmented the Yaesu's eDSP circuits to peak signals literally out of the noise. What and amazing technology combination (analog AND digital). You can read more about WQ6X'sz dual effort (NX6T & WQ6X) in the WQ6X contest BLOG
