| ZM1A | MD | We were operating in the M/M distributed category. We both did not have time for a full time effort but there was no entry so far in this new category. After a chat we decided only Thursday evening to give it a go. For a day and a half we both operated. The second part of day two was a single operator effort. I had to be in the clinic early Monday morning (contest goes till Monday noon time in NZ). I was back for the last hour. Perfect timing as a bad storm hit Jacky's place and he had to take down the beams. Shortly after his power was cut. It was good fun! Imagine if we'd had more operators/stations...
