W8EOSO LP ALLFun!
W8KNOSO LP ALLHad a power outage and my clock was off by16 minutes at end of contest
W8LVNSO QRP ALLShort amount of time available, perhaps a total of one hour. Ran QRP to a wire out the window, and managed to work at at least QSO on each band the KX2 covers. Last QSO was ZF1A on 20. Running QRP, I am mindful that most of the work is done by the bigger station: Thanks for the QSOs

WA7YXYSO LP ALLThis was my first CW Contest! I want to thank all those who helped me by slowing down, responding to my AGNs, and showed patience through my erratic sending. I learned a lot and had fun while doing it. There are some amazing CW operators on the air
WA8YSO HP ALLI entered 'Classic' category and Tri-bander & Wires

WN4AFPSO LP 40MPrior to the contest, I decided to make a strong run on my favorite band - 40m. I planned an operating schedule and set an activity goal of 600 Qs, which was an increase from my typical 300-400. My station consists of a Kenwood TS-50 to an 80M OCF dipole at 55 feet, plus running N1MM sw. I was tempted to work the other bands during free time, but I stayed focused on 40m and it paid-off. My schedule...included some daylight operation, bur mainly three blocks of time. 5/29 0000-0800 (45 min break) at 273 Qs. I missed an important opening from -0800-1200 1800z on Saturday through 1400z on Sunday with several breaks. Now at 680 Qs. Sunday 2000z-2400z finished with 755 Qs. During the last leg on Sunday evening it was difficult to find new stations to work. That's the downside of the single-band operation. The daylight running rates were low, but many of the Qs resulted in new mults. So it was well worth it. I didn't have to worry about hours. I left five hours on the table.... Data ... 31 hours Best 10 min rate - 90...Best 60 min rate - 56.... 755 Qs on 40m... My best DX was working ET5AA. Average point value 2.5 per Q. Nice Q to Mult ratio too. It was great to work many CW friends along the way. I worked several Swamp Fox ops including N4IQ, KG4IGC and my last Q in the contest was working Matt NU4E for a needed Mult a few minutes before the finish line. This effort would not have been possible without the help of N4IQ and N4XL with station improvements and N1MM training. Now returning my focus back to the second half of the QSO party season and working toward the State QSO Party WAQP and Challenge programs. http://stateqsoparty.com 73s Dave WN4AFP
WO2XSO HP ALLOperated one handed (surgery on left hand). Had fun just doing S & P. Did better than double my score from last year. :-)
WO9BSO LP ALLBands were great. Had a swell time as usual. Welcome Cycle 25...you made my day
WO9SSO LP 160MI was glad to work 9A2KD, the only EU heard with a readable signa. (Also heard an ultra-faint EI.) Logging the WPX exchange manually via remote operation is a real challenge. Signals on 160 were sparse but glad to run into a few SMC friends
WP3CMSLGreat contest as always and great competition against VP5M. Thanks for Q
WQ6XSO LP ALLThis was another WQ6X WPX Dual-OP from W7AYT's QTH in Concord, Ca. I had the night shift @NX6T which gave me [non-sleeping] daytime hours to casually put WQ6X on the air from the East Bay. Equipment included: a filtered-up FT-1000mp running a MASSIVE 100 Watts into a CH-250 vertical, the WQ6X 8JK Cobra Trapezoid and a 3-el 10-meter Long John yagi for those RARE moments when 10 meters was actually open. Speaking of 10 meters: I was disappointed by the LACK of 10 meter operators especially since the RBN network spotted WQ6X throughout the USA and Canada. This was the 1st contest run from WQ6X's new station setup @W7AYT. Having re-rewired the speakers and headsets for Stereo-Cw made made different pitched stations appear at different locations in my Listening Experience making it easier to run a frequency.
