W2DONSO HP ALLFirst license 01-2023 Thank you very much to the other operators, it was eye-opening to hear your level of skill. I appreciate all who took the time to make a QSO with me. This was my first CW contest after starting to learn this great mode back in December. I'm glad I took the plunge because it's the last year I can be considered a 'rookie'! It will be fun to work on improving for next time. 73 de W2DON
W2TTSO LP ALLUnfortunately had limited operating time this weekend for CQWW WPX. Family events and Saturday party. Happy wife, happy life you know! So I set out to search and pounce and only work new multipliers with the assistance of the N1MM Telnet and Multiplier Display. I'm not a 30 WPM guy. After about 125 contacts I realized I was getting close to DXCC in 1 day ! Well, I didn't quite make it. 172 contacts and 85 countries worked, 170 mults. 6 hours. If I just had a little more time I probably would have done it. Kind of proud of myself! Low power too. 73 all, Ross W2TT
W2UPSO LP 20MThis is a 20m SOU/LP entry. By mistake, I switched to 40m for QSOs 2-4 Those 3 QSOs are included for log- checking purposes, but please ignore them in my entry
W2XXSO HP ALLConditions pretty variable. Didn't spend a lot of time on this one, just popped in and out as time allowed. Always fun to hear the high digit serials towards the end

W8LVNSO LP ALLMany family events this weekend. Didn't have a goal, until midst of Sunday when the possiblity of 400 was in the sights. Just did make it. Conditions were ok Saturday afternoon, not early Sunday, and better at the end. Thanks for all the QSOs!

WA1FMMSO LP ALLGreat contest! Would have been better if not for the lightning Saturday and Sunday afternoon here in Colorado, hi. 73/WA1FMM
WA1SXKChecklogI S/N sent did get mixed up during contest due to an auto counter issue, that kept getting reset so the QSO # sent may not match and reported by my contacts may not match my ADI conversion file attached. Call signs listed are QSOs I made. I only made contacts for fun, and I do not record S/N received in my log

WM9CSO HP ALLNeed to practice CW, really struggled when I was tired. Caught myself editing the serial number for the wrong QSO many times. Much room for improvement for next year. Thank you to the organizers
WN1GIVSO HP 10MAbout two weeks ago, I replaced a burned out W2DU balun on my A4S with a DXE choke balun. Feed line isolation must be much improved since my noise level on 10/15/20 is dramatically lower, the quietest I've heard in years. But.. Conditions seemed generally quite poor on 10M for the WPX. Very few EU worked on either day, and no JA run to finish the contest, only one JA in the log on Saturday. This was basically a NA/SA contest here with a few of the Caribbean islands, VK/ZLs, and AF countries thrown in. At 85 years old, it's getting difficult to spend long hours in the chair, so many short breaks were taken making the calculated op time unrealistic
WQ3OSO HP ALLHorrible conditions during the day resulted in a part time effort
WQ6XSO QRP ALLThis was another WQ6X QRP WPX Cw operation from Ramona. I got a late start on Friday and spent several operating shifts running for NX6T. While 10-meters was largely a DUD, 15 & 20 were HoT, altho less on Sunday. I LOVE the Weird prefixes created JUST for this event. LooK for a write up on this at: http://WQ6X.Blogspot.com
WR4ISO QRP ALLTough being heard on 15m QRP!
WR5OSO LP 15MEnjoyed the casual Classic overlay. Didn't make much of an effort and the rotor indicator wasn't working but managed 350 Qs
WT7/OL5YSO HP 15MJust few QSOs for fun
WV4AMSO LP ALLOperator age 14 I gave myself a challenge this time. My grandpa (W9SN) lets me use his station remotely from here in NC. He uses the Flexes and all that cool stuff. Well last time I did the CQ WW CW contest, I used his station and broke 1,000,000 points for the first time. Grandpa's a world contester so he has tons of antenna towers and incredibly expensive antennas, plus he's on a mountain so he can hear pretty much anything. So this time I chose to use only my home station (IC-7300, G5RV dipole at 45ft.). Well I really impressed myself. I was able to beat my past record score of 1,059,000 with 1,127,000. That's just the raw scores though. Anyways, I'm pretty satisfied with what my 100w and G5RV can do. Plus, I can't use 80m/160m on my antenna so I missed out on a lot of points. I wasn't able to beat my QSO count, but I still did pretty good by my own standards. Thanks a lot for all the Q's, 73's till next time! -Jake, WV4AM
