WC7SSA QRP ALLA good time had by all.. well.. right after the puter rebuild after the blue screen = 9 hours of work, Fri evening and Sat morning. That was a bit disturbing. After that, and settling into S&P, this was a great practice run for two radios. Now to get the antennas back up. Was using only an EF 260 ft and a 20 EDZ. This is way better than the 2015 score that placed 1st in 7th call area and 8th in NA. Nearly 3X better. The flare and many folks getting on certainly helped. Great fun, finding friends in runs. Super to work fellow club members, KH6LC,KT0A & W0ETT. Will be looking for you next test!
WD0TSO HP ALLGreat activity and fun during contest.. Even some 15m here which made it excellent. Thanks for the Q's and mults, 73 God Bless Todd WD0T
WD6TSA HP ALLFive hours of fun from home station (mostly Saturday night, 0300-0730z) during my off-time from the NR6O remote. Some great rates on 40m on Saturday night that felt like a CWT (plus many familiar calls), peaking at 180 and averaging over 100. Then there were the other times, with QSB/QRN necessitating many repeats of serial numbers. Happy to work a few Europeans (difficult for me, as there is a hill in the way), including OH0T. Even managed a few Qs on 160, using my 'TOG' (transmitting antenna on the ground). As usual, diversity helped on 80/40, using HF2V in one ear and Wellbrook loop in the other. On 20, used KT34A tribander at 30' on the side of a hill facing SW. 1KW. Great contest!

WN7SSO HP ALLGreat but had logging problems all during contest
WO2XSA HP ALLDidn't have time enough to really get going in the contest due to family commitments that took me out of state. Still had fun for the limited amount of time operating
WP3TTSO LP ALLBreaking in the new callsign WQ2N -- WP3TT
WQ6ISA HP ALLThanks to my good Friend Moody WQ6I for the use of his call. Propagation was great and maybe a bit to good for my old body! I had a very nice time
WQ6XSA LP 40MThis was another WQ6X Dual-OP from W7AYT's QTH in Concord. In between remote-OP'ing NX6T, I found a few hours of time to run WQ6X from Concord. The poor-signal vortex was quite evident this weekend strange because the Fallbrook location was LOADED with signals. Then again those antennas are twice as high as the setup in Concord. LooK for a write up on this at
WR4ISO QRP ALLWorst 20m condx in a long time but EU heard my 5wts !
WS4CSO LP ALLI enjoyed handing out WS4 as a mult to as many stations as could hear my 100w and garage-attic dipole. Nice to have some sporadic E on 10m!
WT8WVSA LP ALLI'm really enjoying the CQWW CW contests more and more because they are great training to be a better CW and SSB operator under a little pressure to perform! The focused actual practice of copying CW at speed gives a greater sense of confidence and proficiency
WU3USO LP ALLOnly 15W but too high to count as QRP. It was fun either way!
WU6PSO LP ALLMy 1st time on CQ WPX, have had a lot of fun, and learned a few things. Radio is IC-7300, antenna is home brew EFHW-80
WU6XSO LP ALLUpdated/corrected one contact
