K8YU | SA LP ALL | My TX point was WA, USA. I operated from JA remotely |
K9CS | SA HP ALL | K3/KPA-500 @ 400W BigIR vertical & Inv L |
K9GY | SA LP ALL | Wish I had more time to spend on this contest |
K9HXO | SO LP ALL | Only had 4 hours |
K9UIY | SO LP 80M | At start of the contest, all was going well. But 30 minutes into the contest, I had to shut everything down because of thunderstorms in my area (northwestern Illinois) for over four hours. Still a good time with decent conditions for 80 M |
KA5S | SO QRP 40M | Missing some numbers, I screwed 'em up. SRI |
KA6JLT | SO LP 20M | Made more contacts - this is updated log |
KC2LST | SA HP ALL | I ran CW Skimmer as my local spotting network and it did a good job of identifying workable stations. Propagation, while not favorable, wasn't as poor as I anticipated, though there was some QSB from time to time. The rough late winter and early spring in this part of NJ knocked down my wire that favors Europe and though I managed to re-hang it a bit higher, upon applying amplifier power, SWR goes kablooey. I was able to operate CW OK with the amp but will have to investigate connectors and coax as something's going open upon heating. I can hear the mosquitoes forming a welcoming committee out there... Thanks to all for a fun event! |
KC5R | SO LP ALL | Tried out new IC-7610 in contest. Storm took down antenna Sat night |
KC6X | SO LP ALL | Great condx on 20m! It was open late into the night. I was amazed what I could hear and work with my OCF dipole and low power. Too band the other bands (save 40m) could even remotely follow suit. For CW being a "dead mode", there were no shortage of stations. hihi |
KC7V | M2 | No one can say contesting at the sunspot minimum can't be a blast |
KD6WKY | SA LP 40M | Worked 40m band |
KD8DEU | SO LP ALL | First time working the contest with my Kx2 on 10-12watts |
KE0TT | SO QRP ALL | K3/10 at 5 watts/dipoles. Thanks copying my QRP. C U next time. 73, Dan |
KE2D | SA LP ALL | I only had time to play for a little while on and off. However, late on Saturday night there was some great propagation happening on 20m. In under an hour I worked, Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, Ecuador, New Zealand, Asia, and a number of U.S. stations near and far, all with only 100w. I copied KN1DX via both short and long path at the same time. I also heard JT5DX but couldn't work him |
KE5LQ | SA LP ALL | 2018 CQ WPX CW CONTEST |
KE6K | SO QRP ALL | Gud cndx for the cycle. Tnx all who dug out my signal |
KE8EAS | SO LP ALL | Was having some program problems, so there are a few dupes |

KF6NCX | SO LP ALL | Great contest! Thanks for the Qs |
KG3V | SO LP ALL | Great level of activity and the Bands were not bad. Thanks for the contest |
KG5U | SO QRP ALL | Only had a little time for operating. Re: the band cndx. I didn't miss much |
KH6CS | Checklog | Given the mediocre propagation, this was a challenge for my pea-shooter QRP |
KJ0D | M2 | @N0NI |
KJ5Y | MSH | MURPHY!!! Our station was knocked off twice-LIGHTENING! cont.w/dipoles 100W |
KJ9C | SO LP ALL | Just filling the log, havent worked much DX lately. Twenty and 40 good |
KK5I | SA HP ALL | op - W5CW station - K5CM |
KM4FOC | SO LP 40M | I tried for the second year in a row for a small USA record, but fell a little short again. Oh well I'll try again next year. I have been using this 2 element beam for about 7 years and it stll amazes me |
KM4SII | SA LP ALL | First time working WPX CW! 15 year old op |
KP4/N6EE | SA HP ALL | Remote Operation to Las Palmas Puerto Rico |
KQ2M | SO HP ALL | Great fun as always! Hopefully next year I will be in better health and will be able to operate full-time and with 2 radios. Tnx for the qso's and the mults! 73 Bob KQ2M |
KQ6K | SO HP ALL | First Time doing this Contest. Was surprised at the many DX stations on |
KS7T | SO HP ALL | Couldn't believe how long the band stayed open to EU. both days There were plenty of decent signals not like during the week when one or 2 come in here and there. Had my best EU. run near the end even though a thunder storm made copying weaker sigs a struggle |
KU1CW | M2 | SORRY - THE QSO NUMBERING ISN'T QUITE AS IT SHOULD BE (I.E. CONTINUOUS FROM 001 FOR EACH BAND). WE HAD SOME FALSE STARTS WITH DIFFERENT LOG FILES, WHICH I LATER MERGED. RIG-0 AND RIG-1, HOWEVER, ARE CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED. TNX! |
KU2M | SO HP 20M | Wow - sunspots - what a concept! |
KV8Q | SO LP 40M | We recently downsized and moved into a condo. Setup the station with not much hope installing a mag loop in the attic above the garage. Very surprised to find that it works wonders!!! I am really amazed how well that thing works. Sure, I have to tune it every few Khz but that thing really works. As a result, I had a ton of fun during this contest. After missing two years, it was good to be back bumping into old friends and making some new ones. Thanks for all the Q's and I'll be looking forward to next year. 73 - tom |
KW4J | SO LP ALL | Super good contest! |
KX7L | SA HP ALL | What strange conditions. I got a late start on Friday, so began on 40m, where conditions were rough struggle 80m was even worse. Saturday on 20m, thngs were much better. Lots of warbly Europeans coming through. In fact 20 was going so well, I almost didn't go to 40 at all on Saturday night. Sunday conditions to Europe were even better - signals were booming in! The only action on 15 seemed to be a few W6's (E-skip?). I can't remember a WPX like this - it was all about EU, hardly any activity from Asia or South America to be heard here. Still didn't quite match my best score from 2 years ago - just not enough mults (or enough double point 40m and 80m QSO's) |
KZ3I | SO QRP 20M | ...enjoyed my first WPX CW contest |
L73H | SA LP 20M | Bad Bad conditions from SA |
LA8OKA | SO LP 20M | Just entered for the fun |
LT7D | SA LP 20M | Relatively good condx with EU and NA. Just a couple of hours fun |

LU8DPM | SA HP 80M | LU3CW: Ariel J. Fernandez |
LU8EHR | SO LP ALL | New antenna and condx did for very dificult QSOs, only 15m was about OK. I want to thank to pals for keep trying to copy my call and number |
