YC5OUBSO LP 15MVery nice contact that I followed since I am on Dxing. Nice provagation as well. See you on another contest.
YJ8TZSO HP ALLGreat fun for my first Contest Dxpedition. Pity that the bands did not hold up for Sunday and Monday Morning. The small tribander was only up about 7m and this was fine for 10m and 15m but was too low for a good signal on 20m. A good opening to the USA on Sunday night was very good for the score. Thankfully there was an opening to EU on 15m so that the multiplier count was not too low. It is quite amazing how different the 20m LP to EU is between VK3 and YJ8.... I really missed that LP opening around 0600z. Some good rates but mostly with JA, the path to the USA was not good enough to hold a decent pile-up, as it was the day before the contest. Unfortunately, other operators were not able to make the trip and lugging 70kg of gear on the plane made it a reasonably tough job getting set up. Many thanks to Rod, YJ8RN for loan of the mast and assistance getting around the place.
YL3ADSO LP ALLThose were fine Contesting hours! Thanks! Next Year 'll look for better antennas. 73! Jan

ZS6CCWSO LP 15MMy QTH was on Magaliesberg Mountain (Montana Lodge) 1550m ASL. CONDX was nice on saturday but weather = lightning thunderstorms power shading - terrible. But I enjoy this time which I spend there with radio. I use SD LOG - excellent! I'm looking fwd for CW part...
