K1DCSO HP ALLMany family commitments this weekend made for a very casual, part-time effort. My goal was to fill some band slots and perhaps get one or two ATNOs. Goal Achieved! Thanks to Tony, K1KP for the use of his station and thanks for the Qs!

K4PZZSO HP ALLI love WPX and was looking forward to the contest. Found a quiet spot on the bands a few times to call CQ and had some good runs when not distracted, the S&P rate wasn't too bad, either. I had half-heartedly thought about making 1M points my goal for the contest, which in hindsight wasn't a very lofty goal somewhere around the 500-QSO mark I realized that 1000 QSO's was well within reach and made that the new goal. Achieved, with some wiggle room for when the LCR hits. My first foray as an 'official' PVRC member - GO PVRC! 40m netted the most points-per-QSO, but at the expense of rate. 15m is my favorite, where I spent the most time, and netted the most QSO's. 20m was acting a bit strange this weekend it opened late, but also gave a late-night opening Saturday night into Sunday morning - VK's, SA, EU all simultaneously - although even with a little bit of power and a baby yagi, working stations that were S4+ was still at times a challenge. Positives: met my goal(s), didn't break anything, propagation was at least 'good', only heard one instance of on-air fighting over a frequency (and only stuck around to listen because I was hoping to work a new mult haha), and had plenty of fun. Gripes: could've worked a few more stations if the over-driven stations nearby calmed it down. If I'm ever 4kHz wide and splattering I hope somebody has the courtesy to tell me I much prefer hearing unsolicited compliments on having clear audio. 40m had plenty more stations but all below 7.125 - wasn't that long ago that listening above 7.200 was common for them but now it's just a case of 'look but don't touch' for the mults hiding down there. Only mistaken as KP4ZZ a handful of times may be my last entry as K4PZZ depending on how the FCC lottery goes. FT-2000, SB-200, TA-33 @ 40ft, doublet @ 40-ish ft, N1MM+
K4RFKSO LP ALLJust moved to GA. Put up a very compromise dipole sloper which was very frustrating to use but at lease I had some sort of signal in the air

K5RXSO HP ALLLimited to 100 W on 40 and 80 because of no resonant antenna, so spent most of my time on 10, 15 and 20 with tribander. Interesting to work D4K on 10 meters at the start, and later VK, but no JA or even KH6. Conditions improved as the contest progressed. Second night had a very good opening on 20 to Europe at its sunrise. I checked 160 several times but there was no contest activity and my CQs went unanswered. Time on: 14:39 (879 minutes)
K5XUSO LP ALLLots of fun, especially on 15 and 10 meters
K6MUGSO LP ALLMy station seemed deaf. Receiver? Antenna? Propagation? I don't know
