UZ2HZSO LP 15MI caught the flu just few days before contest, so it was difficult to talk proper on Saturday. Also the propagation on Saturday was strange — couldn't hear anything from first skip in 2000km range from East - usually there are very loud UA9, UN7 stations but even well known big-guns was not audible at all! On Sunday it was all opens well as should be. Perhaps it's time to start consider about changing station location — electrical noise from the East direction has increased significantly in last year or so... For the first time ever (!), I could not hear anyone from VK/ZL and missed a lot of usual easy to get far Asian's DX, unfortunately. But in any case, I really enjoyed participating, even though SSB isn't my favorite operating mode
V47TSO HP ALLStarted the week with 4 Titan 425 amps, but could only get one to work. Did the contest with only one radio/amp. Band changes were always an unknown. Thanks to Andy N2NT for the use of his station and for doing the work necessary to set things up
