KK7PWMSHTnx all ops - great job! 20 and 40 money bands, QRM was horrendous. Good stateside on 80. No 10 and almost no signals on 15. Some Europe on 40 and lots on 20. Deep QSB a problem much of the time. Great job by Curt, on low bands
KK7VLSO QRP ALLRADIO IS A STOCK YAESU FT-817ND. MAXIMUM POWER OUTPUT WAS 2 TO 4 WATTS
KL2ZZSO LP ALLRough conditions again this year. 40m was OK, but I think I slept through the best hours. 20m was very noisy and unpredictable. I actually heard some CTs - the first time I've ever heard them. But I could not work them. Also unable to work the RAs I could hear

KM4SIISA LP ALL14 y/o op. 40m the best band. The high bands were mostly poor
KP2XXSO HP ALLAs always WPX provided great fun. 40 meters was full with very little room to call on. I checked 10 meters often but heard not a single station
KQ2MSO HP ALLTough cndx but GREAT FUN! Thanks for all the q's and mults! 73 Bob KQ2M
KR1DXMSH20 was great, and 40m produced to some extent as well
KS7TSO HP ALLFighting the constant QSB and QRN sure slows down the QSO rate. Amazing how often QSB sets in on a guys last letter! Didn't have to worry about it on 10 or 15 because total silence on those bands here - nevertheless still wkd new pfxes in contest!
KS9KSO LP ALLThank goodness for same-country QSOs!
KT4CBSO QRP ALL5W! Frustrating, but very rewarding!
KT8KSO QRP ALLterrible conditions here, worst I can remember. I was discouraged by my rate of 6-7 QSO's per hour in spite of trying and trying and trying to be heard by stations that were S9 or better. N1MM+ says I put in 5 hours but I think it was twice that, sometimes going more than a half hour without a contact. Hopefully the next one will be much better, and I'll put you in my log. 72/73 to all de kt8k - Tim station equipment: - Tentec Orion, MFJ Grandmaster Memory Keyer with Bencher BY-1 paddle - XP laptop running N1MM+ (and nothing else!) - homebrew RS-232 to keying interface (thanks Dan KB6NU - catch his blog!) Antennas: - 20/40/80m multi-wire dipole at 30 feet, fed with RG8x - 10/15/20m vertical trap dipole fed at 35 feet with RG8x - 40/80m wire vertical fed with TV twin lead and LDG Z-11 autotuner, feed point at 12 feet above ground, 2 radials per band Thanks for enjoying my ham radio (and other) songs: "I Want a Big Tower" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNWZjzrzgwA "If You Ain't Runnin', You Ain't Winnin'" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNWZjzrzgwA www.youtube.com/themandolinmaniac
