| GM2T | M2 | Well this was an experience. We had multiple issues from radio fails and equiment fails requiring a major redesign of the station. The weather was horrendous with extremely strong winds which made us to change our aerials. Ended up with wire dipoles and verticals which we concluded was the safest option. SAFETY COMES FIRST... During the first night, some thunderstorms and heavy rain made reception particularly difficult on the usable bands. At the end, despite Mr. Murphy's excellent work, we really enjoyed ourselves as always and achieved a still interesting result, quite close to our personal best from 2015 |
