K1WCCSO LP ALLHAD A GREAT TIME!
K2CABSO LP ALLLicense date October 22, 2018 (as KD2QPL)
K2MESSO LP 40M, wire 20m vertical loop with OWL feed and manual tuner
K3AUSA HP 20MOne hours. Fun while it lasted
K3CCRM2K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. N3UM and W3GB operated Multi-2 in 2019 WPX SSB. N3UM was away till mid-AM Sat, so W3GB started at 0Z. Our high 4-el. 20-m. beam had been fine Fri. AM, but at 0Z it had high SWR. So, W3GB used our C3 tribander on a roof tripod for 20 Qs on 20m, 00-01Z. He found 40m. slow, just 4 Qs, but did much better on 80m, 110 Qs, 65 of them in a good run at 72/hr 0203-0257Z. He got 20 more Qs on 40m. before QRT at 0420Z with 444 Q pts and 129 mults. Back on 1235-1535Z, W3GB got 92 Qs, 265 pts, and 76 mults on 20m. N3UM came, got on 20m. 1540-1720Z, and got 61 Qs, 38 running. We swapped lunch breaks and had 331 Qs at 1820Z. We tried but failed to fix a confusing intermittent connector fault seen on TDR 20 ft. from the shack in the cable to the big 20m. beam. That and supper breaks cost us some Qs. But then 2200-0223Z we hopped bands, swapped breaks, and got 162 Qs 16 on 15m, 30 on 20m, 23 on 40m, and then after 00Z, 90 Qs on 80 m. Sun. AM W3GB was away N3UM got on 1245-1540Z for 55 Qs, mostly 3-pointers on 15 and 20m. After lunch we were both on 1756-2033Z for a final 72 Qs, all but 10 on 15 and 20m. Like last year, our best bands were 20 and 80m they gave us 77% of our QSO points and 85% of our mults. Our score was lower than in 2018 due to using backup antennas on 40 and 20 m. and just 22 hrs. BIC vs 25 last year
K3PASO HP ALLThunderstorms, snow static and bad conditions prevented much of a score
K3SSSSO LP ALLOperating remote from the W2/Monticello station of RemoteHamRadio.com
K3TWSA QRP 160MBand conditions were good for QRP (5 watts).
K4CGYSO HP ALLGreat contest
K4DESSO LP 20M80 watts, modest antenna challenging but fun!
K4GMSA HP ALLVery little time
K4PZZSA HP ALLGood run sat nite on 40. 15 opened up pretty good sunday afternoon
K4SBZSA LP ALLGood contest. Propagation wasn't great for DX, but there were a lot of prefixes available. The 10 Meter band opening on Sunday was nice. Rig: Flex-6600M Ant: 80-6M OCF dipole 160-6M fan dipole Using diversity reception was a treat. It really helped with the weaker signals

K5LADSO HP ALLTerrible propagation
K5LRWMMall have fun!
K5RXSO HP ALLOperated just 260 minutes, mostly on the low bands. Surprised 15 meters so poor. Nothing at all heard on 10 meters

K6CSLSO LP ALLBad Conditions. Worst I've ever seen in WPX
K6TUJSO LP ALLTough going for us popgun stations on low power with a wire but still a lot of fun. Thanks to all for their patience
K7ABVSO HP ALLnothing above 20 meters this year...come on sunspots!!
K7VITSA HP ALLSome necessary time conflicts caused significant BIC deficiency. I had a couple of short runs for fun. On a city lot, my low-band antennas are pretty anemic by most standards. Big thrill for me was to call K3LR on 80m--K3LR had a weak signal ... until the OP reversed the 80m array and just about pinned my meter. I almost thought someone else had moved in on the frequency. (K3LR had made a presentation about the station to Willamette Valley DX Club not so long ago. Awesome engineering!) Thanks to all who answered my calls. 73, Jerry
K7XCSA LP 80MDidn't want to get stuck doing a full bore effort on SSB which I used to love but these days, SSB just SUCKS! So I thought to do a monoband effort matching my sleep paterns as I find myself awake most of the night these days. Not wanting to fight the BS on 40M SSB I elected to to play on 80M Low Power. This way I could work the club members and see just how well the station is performing. I worked from D4C to KH6 and everything in between with only 75W from the ancient IC-746 into an Inverted Vee at 38ft. Looking forward to CW and RTTY. KB!
K8ATGSO LP ALLI had fun on this contest
K8JTSA HP ALLHad a 7 hour power outage!
K8YESA HP ALLEnjoyed the Contest - lots of activity on the band
K9LCSA LP ALLDid not have much time to operate but made a few contacts
K9TWWSA HP ALLfirst licensed as KE0JFQ 5/19/2016
KA3CZYSO HP ALLI enjoyed the contest very much. Conditions here provided more QSOs on 40 and 80 this year. More antenna work is needed to increase the number of Q's, along with more hours of operating
KA6BIMSA HP ALLCrappy bands, but a fun effort. Thanks everyone for the calls and spots
KA9GDWSA LP ALLThe bands we open and enjoyable to make contact with all the fine hams! ka9gdw
KA9OSO LP 40MK9CT. Please don't force me to QSY from my QRG because you are a BIG GUN and I am just small pistol. Where is HAM SPIRIT?????
KB0YHSO HP ALLK3S + L7 + inverted vee dipole
KB2URISA LP 40MGave up really, using only a single sad dipole that wasn't very effective made for too much fustration
KB4GIASO LP 40Mn6jv I sent him #15 but he thought it was #16. I was unable to correct him. This was my first time on a contest for decades. I have a new radio and shack. I used a TS480 with a mjf whip dipole in an attic a 95watts. I was very happy I was able to get out with my new radio. It was enjoyable. 73s

KC9YDVSO LP ALLFirst contest doing my best with this log
KD3HNSO LP ALLTrying out my 'new' FTdx5000, but still just wire antennas (160m full wave horizontal loop at 45' and 20m doublet at 60')
KD6RMSSO LP ALLTerrible band conditions and high winds at my portable hilltop location. Had to park my SUV directly under my multi-band dipole as a windbreak for my setup. It de-tuned the antenna. :-(
KD7FQISO LP 40M40 3/31 0525 18 kh7xs 59 3016 This QSO was made but I made an error in logging the sent number. I have two number 18. Please adjust score as needed
