JA8RUZSO HP ALLCondx getting better on highbands.bUT MY CONDX is poor during contest
JA8RWUSO LP ALLEven though it was tough to work on SSB using wires only & LP from Far East without Russian neighbors, I had a blast and it was nice to say Hi(love & peace) to old&new friends as usual. Despite worse condx in the last morning due to flares and partial world wide contest as a result I made much more Q's than the last year (358vs.496,39%up) thanks to recent better sunspot activity. Biggest thrills of the QSOs were D4Z over the north pole, I guess, on 20m at 23z and V31XX on 40m. Cu in the next one for more Q's and hopefully with World Wide activity as usual. The score include two Russian & one Belarus QSOs. No TB & Wires only effort as usuai :-) Two inv.vees for pole & pole on the roof. 73's Akira, JA8RWU

JE1SPYSO LP 160MIn the Japanese band plan, SSB is only 30KHz wide from 1845 to 1875KHz. Moreover, since it is LSB, 1848KHz is the limit on the lower side, so you cannot call a DX station that runs at 1845KHz. (Because the lower wave band 3KHz of LSB enters the digital band) Since the Japanese band plan is treated the same as the Radio Law provisions, there are penal provisions for administrative sanctions,so amateur radio operators are free to do so at the time of the contest. It cannot be changed. Therefore, DX stations should fully understand that only 1848 to 1875KHz can communicate with Japanese stations via SSB
